James Colten "Cole" Hirlston, infant, of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Alive Hospice Residence. Cole was preceded in death by his Uncle Lance Corporal J.D. Hirlston and great-grandfathers, James Monroe Hirlston, Don Layhew Sr., and B.R. Huskey. He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Jessica Hirlston of Rockvale; brother, Jonathan Mahon; grandparents, Don Layhew Jr. of Christiana; Monica Layhew of Rockvale; James and Melvina Hirlston of Rockvale; Judy Hirlston of Hendersonville; great-grandparents, Barbara Layhew of Milton; Mary Hirlston of Murfreesboro; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
The family will receive friends from 9:00am until the funeral service at 2:00pm Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Chaplain Annie McClure officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tim and Nick Matheson.
