Wallace B. Ackerman, 72 of Smyrna passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2009. Mr. Ackerman was a life-long truck driver and was a volunteer fireman in up state New York where he was born.
Mr. Ackerman was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace B. and Nettie Ackerman and sister, Kathy Szewczk. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandy Ackerman; nieces, Beth Traut, Laurie Mugveet, Kathy Mitchell; and nephew, Pete Szewczyk.
There will not be open services of any kind, at the request of his wife.
