Allan "Big Al" Kennedy, 58, of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday, May 06, 2011 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was a native of Decatur, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Sanford Kennedy and brother, Jack Kennedy. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Kennedy; son, Chris (Melissa) Kennedy of Stafford, VA; daughter, Cassandra Kennedy of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Caelah and Caisie Kennedy; mother, Marjorie Kennedy of Hendersonville; sister, Pat Bivens of Fayetteville, TN; brothers, Edwin and David Kennedy of Nashville. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 pm until the service at 6:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Big Al's memory to Cassandra Kennedy.
