Obituary of Ronna Morphis

Ronna Morphis, 52, of Murfreesboro passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 at her residence. She was a native of Dyersburg and longtime resident of Murfreesboro. She was a member of Smyrna Assembly of God and previously worked for Williamson County EMS and Williamson Medical Center. Mrs. Morphis was preceded in death by her father, Billie Joe Adkins; father in law and mother in law, RL and Louise Morphis. She is survived by her loving husband, Leslie Morphis; mother, Geraldine Adkins of Newbern; sons, David (Vicki) Morphis of Murfreesboro and Joe (Jamie) Morphis of Murfreesboro; her granddaughter and pride and joy, Ashley Morphis; sisters, Cathy Biache Cole of Columbia, Owetda (Tommy) Call of Collierville and Nika (Del) Simpson of Dyersburg; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
