Brenda Roark, 62, of LaVergne, passed away Wednesday, August 05, 2009 Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Roark was born in Lewisburg to Vernon and Sylvia Smith. She was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Roark was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Roark; mother, Inez (Duane) Wolf of Smyrna; sons, Chris (Judy) Roark of Murfreesboro; Kevin (Amber) Roark of Murfreesboro; brother, David Tony (Debbie) Smith of Smyrna; sister, Mollie (Craig) Pearce of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Thomas Roark, Jacob Roark, Kiera, Roark, Kellie Roark and Xan Roark.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 07, 2009 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 08, 2009 at 11:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Father Mark Sappenfield officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chris Roark, Kevin Roark, Jeremy Smith, Tony Smith, Clay Pertuset, Craig Pearce, and Brandon Reedy.
