Ruth Lorraine Heikes, 86, of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 at Boulevard Terrace Nursing Center.
Mrs. Heikes was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Cherry and husband, Calvin August Heikes, Jr. She is survived by her son, James E. Heikes and wife Susan M. Heikes of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, James Heikes, Jr and wife Angela of Murfreeesboro, Tracy Wallace and husband Tony of CA, Robyn Heikes of MT, Captain Dane Heikes currently serving in Iraq; step grandson, Captian Patrick Caukin and wife Courtney of Murfreesboro, step granddaughter, Gwyn Baker of Murfreesboro; great grandchildren, Austin Wallace, Kaitlin Heikes, Cody Heikes, Hailey Hudins; step great grandson, David Baker. A private family memorial service to be held.
