Obituary of Wilma Hancock

Wilma Ann "Grammy" Eaves Hancock, of Murfreesboro passed away Friday, June 05, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Hancock was born in Riceville to the late Carl Edward and Rhoda Swafford Eaves. She worked for the State of Tennessee and was a member of Lascassas United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Don DeWayne Hancock; son, Steven (Sherry) Hancock of Lebanon; daughter, DeAnn "DeDe" Hancock (Drew) Clum of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Brittany Hancock, Dace Clum; sister; Wanda Hickey of Atlanta, GA; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Monday beginning at 12:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Jim Newman officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family ask donations be made to Lascassas United Methodist Church Youth Fund, 4665 E. Jefferson Pike, Lascassas, TN 37085.
