John B. Davis, 75, of Murfreesboro passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 at Baptist Hospital. Mr. Davis was born in Fentress County, TN to the late John Bill and Lizzie Davis. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of United Methodist Church in Columbus, GA. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Matthew Davis; sister, Kieechiee Odessa. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Davis; sons, David (Ann) Davis of Murfreesboro, TN, Kevin (Cathy) Davis of Douglasville, GA, Brian (Marta) Davis of Alpharetta, GA; brothers, James Davis of Murfreesboro and Stanton Davis of Bowling Green, KY; sisters, Patsy Barton and Chonita Duncan, both of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 21 at 10:30 am at Marcy Funeral Home in Conneaut, Ohio. Burial to follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Conneaut, Ohio.
