Betty Bowling Obituary
Betty Bowling, 67, of Lascassas passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Bowling was born in Bedford County, TN to the late Luther and Ottley Smotherman. Mrs. Bowlng was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Smotherman. She is survived by her husband, Emmett "Beetle" Bowling; daughters, Lenetta Young of Murfreesboro and Tammy Utter of Lascassas; son, Robert Bowling of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Fred Smotherman of Christiana; sisters, Thelma Bryant of Rockvale, Bertha Smotherman of Murfreesboro and Nancy Davis of Christiana. The family will receive friends Friday, April 24, 2009 beginning at 10:00 am until the service at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Newman officiating. Private burial will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Caris Hospice.
