April Newkirk, 38 of Unionville passed away Saturday, April 04, 2009 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. April was born in Valparaiso, Indiana and resided in Unionville. She worked as a RPSGT for The Sleep Centers of Middle TN and attended World Outreach Church.
April is preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas M. Riegle. She is survived by her parents, Dan and Carol Newkirk of Valparaiso, IN; brother, Owen (Tinker) Newkirk of Valparaiso, IN; sister, Becky (Jeff) Thornton of Nunley, TN; nieces, Chelsea Newkirk and Gabrielle Thornton; nephews, Alexander Thornton and Wilson McRay Thornton; grandparents, Ray and Jewel Newkirk and Ruth Riegle, all of Valparaiso, IN.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 12:00pm until the funeral service at 4:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Chaplain Bob Bush will be officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN
