Obituary of Mary Sneed Carver

Mary Ruth Sneed Carver, 85 of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday, March 28, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Carver was a native and life long resident of Rutherford County. She was a member of Bridge Avenue Church of Christ.
Mrs. Carver was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Sneed; son, Phillip Sneed; grandson, Eric Patterson and step grandson, Kelly Ross. She is survived by her husband, James Carver; daughter, Janis (Kenneth) Patterson of Murfreesboro; sisters, Shirley Mingle, Mildred Markum, Deedie Drake, all of Murfreesboro and Elaine Porterfield of Christiana; stepson, Jimmy (Dawn) Carver, stepdaughters, Jennie (Ronnie) Ross and Martha Tucker, all of Murfreesboro; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 30, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Carver officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
