Judy Edy, 67, of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Edy was born in Conneaut, OH to Alexander and Arlene Lawson. She was a member of New Vision Baptist Church and worked as a Mail Carrier. Mrs. Edy was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene Lawson. She is survived by her husband Ronald Edy; daughters, Kim (Chris) Byrn and Tanya Brown, both of Murfreesboro; father, Alex Lawson of Rome, OH; brothers, Gordon (Nancy) Lawson of OH, Richard (Pat) Lawson of OH, Scott (Jill) Lawson of TX; sisters, Carol (Frank Monteleone) Lawson of OH, Sandra (Joe) Montgomery of OH; step-daughters, Leah (Tommy) Phillipps of Lake Wales, FL, Denise Edy of Concord, OH; stepson, Danny (Shawna) Edy of Riverside, CA; granddaughter, Dani Luscinski; step grandsons, Zach and Sam Byrn.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 4:00 pm until the memorial service at 6:00 pm at New Vision Baptist Church with Pastor Phillip Robinson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Vision Building Fund.
