Jean Caperton, 65, of Smyrna, passed away Saturday, January 03, 2009 at her daughters residence. A longtime resident of Rutherford county, she was born in Smyrna to the late John and Katherine Young. She worked many years as a waitress at the Kountry Korner in Lavergne.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Caperton of Smyrna; sons, Jerry Fann and his wife Bene of Smyrna, Ricky Fann and his wife Lynn of the Almaville Community; daughters, Margaret Bain of Shelbyville and Mary Bain of Smyrna; eight grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Moore of Smyrna.
Graveside service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, January 08, 2009 at Mapleview Cemetery with Bro. Dwight Smitty officiating. Burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to Alive Hospice
