Helen Elenor York Messick, 86, of Antioch, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Messick was born in Nashville to the late Arthur and Della York.
Mrs. Messick was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Woodard Messick and son, Johnny Kirk. She is survived by her sons, Ray Kirk; Terry Kirk; and Rickey Messick all of Antioch; daughters, Brenda Winter of Nunnelly, TN; Linda Coakley of Old Hickory; and Nancy Richardson of LaVergne; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 10:00am - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 19, 2014 at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Chaplain Gene Lovelace officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
