Obituary of Ruby Whitlock

Ruby Whitlock, 93, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Mrs. Whitlock was born in Bridgeport, AL to the late John Daley and Emily LeRoy. She was a resident of Community Care of Rutherford County.
Mrs. Whitlock was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Debbie) Whitlock of Murfreesboro; Fred E. Whitlock of Nashville; daughter, Dorothy Whitlock of Nashville; brothers, Paul LeRoy of Chattanooga; Wayne LeRoy of Nashville; sisters, Mildred LeRoy of Jasper, TN; Emily Harris of Whitwell, TN; Florence Frizzell of Crossville; Rachel Crabtree of Murfreesboro; Ida Faye Anderson of Georgia; grandchildren, Brian, Casey and Josh Whitlock; great grandchildren, Darian, Kirsten, Blake and Sloane Whitlock.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 3:00pm - 9:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 11:00am at Cumberland View Cemetery with Rev. Walter Douglas Lee officiating.
