Bobby George Holloway, 78, of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Mr. Holloway was born in Sale Creek, TN to the late MK and Geneva Holloway. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea and retired from Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant. Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Forrest, Howard and Wendell Holloway, Jackson Sneed; sister, Helen Roda. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Brown Holloway; son, Russell D. (Melody) Holloway of Hendersonville; daughters, Toni Holloway Collins, Janie (Larry) Davis and Robin Leeann (Ron) Harringshaw; sister, Lynda (Foy) Watson; brother, Dester (Deann) Holloway, all of Chattanooga; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; step children, Ashley (Josh) Crain and Brian (Susan) Carmouche, of Murfreesboro. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 23 from 11:00 am until the Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at Murfeesboro Funeral Home with Rusty Holloway speaking. Military honors to follow service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of American www.ccfa.org.
