Wannie we are praying for you and Regina. I have lost my pastor for over forty years. I never made an important decision without seeking his counsel. I remember his first advice to me and where we were at the time. May the Lord blanket you with his Grace...Stan & Nieta

I remember my Grandmother, Sister Lois Guire, telling me stories of the "young" Eugene Weakley beginning his ministry, as she and Aunt Ruth were beginning theirs back in those early years of the Church around the Liverworth, TN community. It seems they would hold "brush arbor" and tent meetings and people hearing the gospel for the first time would flood to the altars. Brother Weakley was a very fine gentleman of quiet strength and a faith that never waivered, yet he had a quick wit that could catch you off-guard. I wouldn't take a dirt-dobber's nickel for seeing you both at Jean's 80th birthday celebration! When he saw me, he said, "Gal! Where've you been!" I love you all. We've had some spendid times in Bessemer when a young trio of girls that formed in TN Youth Camp - Amy, Myrna and Marie, were singing together. Those memories are very special and I will treasure your love and friendship forever. Brother Weakley was one of a kind - there's no one like him, nor ever will be. That light has gone out, but burning bright in Glory! I know that you will, but keep the faith. We all count on it! Love, Marie Guire Cathey
