Jimmy Carman, 74, of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Mr. Carman was born in Memphis, TN to the late Henry Hairl Carman and Nellie Florence Sims Carman. He was a graduate of Belmont College and attended World Outreach Church. He retired from Tridon and was former President of Nashville Traffic and Transportation Club. Mr. Carman was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Carman. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Carman; sons, Jeff (Emily) Carman and David (Tammy) Carman, all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Ashley, Abbie, Victoria and Joseph Carman; brother, William "Bud" (Barbara) Carman of Franklin; sisters, Barbara (Hank) Nolen of Chickamauga, GA and Janice Carman of Fayetteville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday, June 27, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Doyle Hayes officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
