Howard Hall, 69, of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday, August 08, 2008 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service for forty two years in the Murfreesboro area and a member of Sharpsville Church of Christ. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Obie and Sarah Emma Bowers Hall; daughter, Robin Hall; brother, Roy Hall. He is survived by his wife Linda Hall of Murfreesboro; daughters, Kay Lynn Hall of Smyrna and Lori (Stephen) Cuneo of Lascassas; son, Les (Kristin) Messick of Murfreesboro; brothers, Fred (Mary Ann) Hall of Franklin, Glenn (Glenda) Hall of Cookeville; sisters, Ruth Smitty of Murfreesboro, Rachel Smitty of Woodbury, Joyce (Jim) McKenzie of Alabama, Carol Nellums of Cookeville and Linda (Roger) Reed of Lascassas; grandchildren, Sydney and Taylor Cuneo, Cody and Nick Messick, Anna Jackson, Chanda Jones; great grandchildren, Lucas, Jordan, Zachary and Brooklynn.
The funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, August 11, 2008 at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. James Lively officiating. Burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
