Obituary of Wayne Vandiver

Wayne Vandiver, 68, of Shelbyville, previous resident of Kittrell Community, passed away Tuesday, May 06, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Vandiver was born in Lawrence County, AL to the late Olen Henry and Lydia Virginia Vandiver. He worked 21 years at Hennessy in LaVergne until he owned P & W Discount. He attended Charity Baptist Church.
Mr. Vandiver was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Pat Vandiver of Shelbyville; children, Dale (Ruth) Vandiver of Michigan; Danny (Jennifer) Vandiver of Murfreesboro; DeAnna (Jim) Wilson of Christiana; grandchildren, Alan-Michael, Brandon, Jordan, Kelsey, and Hannah Vandiver, Keith (Lindsey) Schuster, Taylor Wilson; great grandchildren, McKenzie and Karley Vandiver; sisters, Betty Green of Alabama; Doris (Bob) Kurek of Alabama; Louise Liles of Waynesboro, TN; and brother, Doug (Cathy) Vandiver of Alabama.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 9, 2014 at 2:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Hale officiating. Burial to follow at Tucker Cemetery.
