Annette Nixon Lawrence, 94, native Knoxvillian departed this life on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 in Murfreesboro. She was a life long member of Logan Temple A.M.E. Zion Church and a retired educator with the Knoxville City School System. She is survived by her two daughters, Celnah Smith of Clermont, Florida and Brenda Locke of Nashville, Tennessee; and many devoted family members, friends, and care givers. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Logan Temple A.M.E. Zion Church. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm at Logan Temple A.M.E. Zion Church at, 2744 Selma Ave, Knoxville, TN with Rev. Teresa Oglesby officiating. Arrangements by Jarnigan's Funeral Home, 2823 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Knoxville, TN (865)524-5575.
