Obituary of Armand Damiano

Armand A. Damiano 86 passed away on February 24, 2014 in Murfreesboro, TN. In baptism Symeon was born in Italy and was brought to America by his parents at a young age he lived in Utica for over 40 years served his country in the Calvary during WWII. Armand has a doctorate in law from Albany Law School. He worked as an entrepreneur, his greatest love was teaching. Armand retired in Murfreesboro TN close to family. Mr. Damiano was preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe and Antoinette DeCundo Damiano, brothers, Anthony and Joseph Damiano. A man who loved his family; his survivors his loving wife Margot Leitz Damiano; his children, Antionette Damiano of Naples, FL; Nancy Salerno (John) of Morenci MI; Armand Damiano Jr. (Mary) of Leesburg, VA; Daniela Kam (Handani) of Murfreesboro; David Damiano (Elana) of Buffalo, NY; Aaron Damiano (Robin) of Buffalo, NY; Adam Damiano (Suzanna) of Kodiak, AL; seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Damiano was a man who loved God and served both with a compassionate heart. His inspirational spirit and personal drive was to be admired by those he met. In his loving memory we ask God to grant his servant Armand (Symeon) Damiano memory eternal. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 3:30pm - 6:00pm at St. Elizabeth The New Martyr Orthodox Church. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Elizabeth The New Martyr Orthodox Church with Father John Oliver officiating. Burial to follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery with military honors.
