Judie Straub Cain, 62, of Murfreesboro, passed away, and was promoted to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Cain was born in Sunbury, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Lydia Straub. She was a member of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, TN.
Judie was a strong lady with an adventurous, spontaneous spirit and liked to experience new places and new things in life. She was a caring person who dedicated many years to caring for others; she has been looking forward to holding the babies in heaven and is doing that for our Heavenly Father now.
Mrs. Cain was preceded in death by her parents, and niece, Cindy Franklin. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ken Cain of Murfreesboro; daughters, Jennifer (Robert) Murphy of Tampa, FL; Jacquie Reagan of Cape Coral, FL; Jerri (Rod) Lubke of Raleigh, NC; Melynda (Lavon) Nunnery of Murfreesboro; sister, Carol (Ronnie) Franklin of Erie, PA and their children, niece, Julie Potts of Erie, PA; nephew, Mark Franklin of Ohio; 7 grandchildren, Amanda Reagan, Andrew Reagan, Courtnie Cain, Nathan White, Brian White, Noah Cain, Logan Nunnery; several nieces and nephews; sister- in-law and brother-in-law, Gene and Dot Throgmorton of New Mexico.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Memorial service will be Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00 am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Bush officiating.
Immediately following the service the family would like to invite everyone to a time of fellowship and lunch at the Barrett House at 2048 Barfield Rd., Murfreesboro, TN.
The family would like to express warm gratitude to Caris Hospice, World Outreach Church, and Regional Ambulance Service for all that they so caringly have done to ease this difficult time for the family.
