Katie Snook, 64, of Christiana, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Snook was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, member of Southeast Baptist Church and past Aramark employee. Mrs. Snook was preceded in death by her sister, Leona Staples. She is survived by her husband, Tony Snook; parents, David and Helen Staples of Maine; children, Susan (Jamie) Somnitz of Murfreesboro, Paul Snook of Shelbyville and Kit (Osei) Poku of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Randy, James and Riley Nolan and Jonathan Snook; brothers, Doug Staples of Maine, twin brother, Roy Staples of Mass and Perry Sprague of Conn; sisters, Sue Morin of NH, Eileen Vermette of Vermont, Ruth Allison of Maine and Ida Creamer of Florida. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 4:00 pm until the Service at 7:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
