Bobby E. Robinson, Sr, 73, of Murfreesboro, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 06, 2008. He was born in Rutherford county to the late Less and Sallie Jane Brown Robinson. He worked as a paper hanger and painter for many years in Rutherford county. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was known by all as a loving and giving person. He will be dearly missed by all.

Mr. Robinson is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leroy Robinson; sisters, Gladys Johnson and Ruby Nipper; grandson, Bobby Chase Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Gracie Robinson of Murfreesboro; sons, Bobby "Fuzz" (Stacy) Robinson II of Manchester and Michael Robinson of Murfreesboro; daughters, Sherry Brown, Donna (Larry) Marlin and Kathy Messick, all of Murfreesboro; his granddaughter and guardian angel, Shelly Reed of Murfreesboro; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 12:00 pm, Monday, June 09, 2008 at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. David Humphree officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Walker, Brandon Wilson, Richard Jones, Ivan Slaughter, Randy Hickman, Scott Johnson, Andy Payne and Gary Johnson. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 08, 2008 beginning at 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
