John Edward Knecht, 84, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
Mr. Knecht was born in Mt. Royal, Quebec to the late Herman August and Sadie Phillips Branch Knecht. He is preceded in death by his wife, Audre Joan Knecht; son, Peter John Knecht; stepson, Joel Monture Knecht. He is survived by his wife, Myra Knecht of Ontario; son, John Knecht Jr of Illinois; daughter, Barbara Joan Higgins of Murfreesboro; 5 grandchildren.
