Billie Sue King, 78, of the Midland community, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Thomas Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Rutherford County born to the late William Buford Crouch and Rhoda Pinkston Crouch. She was a homemaker and member of Midland Baptist Church. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Kenneth King; son, Tony King; sister, Virginia Flippo; brothers, Russell and James Crouch. She is survived by her son, Terry King of Midland; grandchildren, Cory King, Kristen King, Heather Wilson and Samantha King; five great grandchildren; sisters, Marie Cothran of Nashville; Betty Jo Batten of Chapel Hill; and Marlene West of Shelbyville. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, Oct 1, 2013 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Dewey Smith officiating. Burial will be at Smotherman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Visitation with the family will be Monday, Sept 30, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
