Kathleen Godfirnon, 64, of Murfreesboro, passed away Monday, September 02, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Mrs. Godfirnon was born in Alton, Illinois. She was a homemaker and attended Family Worship Center. She was preceded by her father, Ralph James Hand and son, Darren Prehn. She is survived by her parents, David and Edith Nelson of Woodriver, IL; daughter, Michele (Shane) Voyles of Murfreesboro; son, Jerry Ford of Alton, IL; eight grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Hand, Jimmy Glisson and Jeff Glisson; sisters, Sharon Sperry, Carolyn Robertson, Sandy Shaw and Betty Secor.
Service will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at Enjoy Church, 3303 Homer Adams Parkway, Alton, IL 62002.
