Rick Hirsch, 59 of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist in Murfreesboro. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. He was an avid golfer and he loved to spend time with his family and his grandchildren. Mr. Hirsch was preceded in death by his father, Louis Hirsch. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Hirsch of Murfreesboro; mother and step-father, Evelyn and Jr. Traxler of Cerro Gordo, IL; son, Brett (Angela) Hirsch of Germantown, TN; daughter, Alicia (Mike) Osborne of Murfreesboro; step-daughters, Sarah (Ryan) Perry of Santee, CA, Leigh-Ann Anderson of Assumption, IL; sister, Karen Kay (Jim) VanMatre of Oakley, IL; 4 grandchildren, Juliette, Isabelle, and Gabrielle Hirsch, and Aidan Osborne; 3 step-grandchildren, Becca, Trever, and Jacob Perry. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 27, 2008 beginning at 1:30 pm to 3:00pm at Trinity United Methodist Church. Funeral Service will be Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 3:00pm at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Eddie Smotherman officiating. Burial to be at LaPlace Cemetery in LaPlace, IL.
