Lewis J. Swain, 87, of Stockbridge, GA passed away Monday, August 05, 2013 at TN State Veterans Home. Mr. Swain was born in New Lexington, OH. He was a member of Highview Baptist Church in Conyers, GA and a retired USAF Lt Col. Mr. Swain was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Pearl Swain; son, Larry Swain. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Swain of Conyers, GA currently residing in Murfreesboro, TN; children, Jerry (Donna) Swain of Webster, TX, Scot (Marilyn) Swain of Lincolnton, GA, Debbie (Tony) Sorrells of Murfreesboro, TN and Kenneth (Vicki) Swain of Loganville, GA; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral service to be at Scot Ward Funeral Services in Conyers, GA. Burial to follow at Andersonville National Historic Site Cemetery in Andersonville, GA with military honors.
