Paul R. Doris, 87, of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mr. Doris was a Truck Driver and a member of St Luke's Catholic Church in Smyrna. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Manteno, Illinois American Legion and Lady Lake, Fl American Legion and was a member of their team providing Military Funeral Honors. Mr. Doris was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Cecilia Doris; brothers, Andy Doris, Ernie Doris, Bob Doris; sister, Dorothy Veliker; and first wife Lea Grise Doris. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Doris of Murfreesboro; daughter, Paula (Art) Schroth of Unionville; son James Doris of Murfreesboro; daughter, Linda (Don) Malone of Manteno, IL; son Ray (Marie) Doris of Momence, IL; sons James Sollo of Fairfax, VA; John (Samantha) Sollo of Sacramento, CA; sister May Belle Lareau of Beaverville, IL; 8 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Mass will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manteno, IL with Father Albert Heidecke officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Manteno, IL. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made to the Heart Association or St. Lukes Catholic Church in Smyrna, TN.
