Harry Ray Vaughn, 69 of Murfreesboro passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Good Samaritan Health and Rehab. Mr. Vaughn was born in Davidson County to the late Jesse Willard and Nellie Gertrude Vaughn. He attended Jefferson Pike Church of Christ.
Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melvin Lee Vaughn. He is survived by mother of his children, Judy Vaughn Nichols of Murfreesboro; daughters, Wendy Watkins Vaughn of Murfreesboro; Rena Vaughn Carter of Murfreesboro; Tina Belle Gordon of Old Hickory; son, Randall Vaughn of Knoxville; brothers, Gilbert Vaughn of La Vergne; Jesse Vaughn Jr. of Murfreesboro; sisters, Ernestine Jones of Smyrna; Pauline Douglas of Murfreesboro; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 3, 2013 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00am at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Carver officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
