Obituary of Sgt. Jason Boling

Sgt. Jason Boling, 23, of Murfreesboro, passed away in Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri Sunday, March 16, 2008 due to a non combat incident. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Born in Jackson, MS, he was a resident of Rutherford County for most of his life. Sgt. Boling was a military policeman stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri with the 252 military police detachment; he was also stationed in Korea for 14 months. He had received awards and decorations which include: Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon. Sgt Jason Boling, was a 2003 graduate of Riverdale High School, while he attended Riverdale he was on the wrestling team and his senior year went to state finals.
Sgt. Boling was preceded in death by his grandparents R.G. and Gladys Boling and C.M. and Sybil Holliday. He is survived by his parents, Rick and Betty Boling of Murfreesboro; Brothers, Glenn (Beth) Boling Jr. of Murfreesboro, Justin Boling of Murfreesboro; Nephew, Jackson Boling of Murfreesboro and Niece, Taylor Boling of Murfreesboro; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins
Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Monday, March 24, 2008 at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Chaplain Bob Talbert Tennessee State Guard officiating. Burial with full military honor will follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden.
Visitation with family will be Sunday, March 23, 2008 at 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
