Helen Jean Haynes, 77, of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mrs. Haynes was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County. Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie T. Holden and husband, John Robert Haynes. She is survived by her children, Kay (Gary) Adams of Woodbury; Bobbie Jean Brown of FL; Linda Diane (David) Cottingham of Tullahoma; Sandra Marie Hayne (Charles Torrejon) of Shelbyville; one grandchild; sisters, Christine Boyce of El Paso, TX; Polly Scruggs of Murfreesboro; brothers, Gilbert Holden of Murfreesboro; George Holden of Unionville; very very special friend, Roy Perry. Service will be private.
