Obituary of Rudolph Zuri

Rudolph Robert Zuri, 82, of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at his home. He was born in Homestead, PA to the late Franklin Nicolas Zuri and Bessie Ur Zuri. He was an employee of Emerson Electric Company, member of St. Rose of Lima and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Zuri was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He was the last child of seven to pass. He was a beloved husband to Geraldine "Gerry" Zuri for sixty two years; beloved father to his children, Steve Zuri of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sandy Zuri of Shelbyville, Nancy Gardner and John Zuri of Murfreesboro; beloved grandfather to eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Monday, November 19, 2012 from 4:00 pm until the funeral service at 6:30 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside service to be at Chartiers Cemetery in Carnegie, PA at 9:00 am Wednesday, November 21, 2012. Burial to follow with military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital.
