Lucy Hatfield, age 64, of Murfreesboro, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Hatfield was born in Pineville, KY to the late James and Patricia Hatfield and was a member of Smyrna Church of God. Mrs. Hatfield was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Lucy Lynn (Larry) Pittenger of Murfreesboro; son, James Robert (Mellanie) Hicks of Dry Ridge, KY; granddaughters, Morgan Pittenger; Addie Joe Hicks; fiance, Dr. James Evans of Murfreesboro; brothers, James Lynn Hatfield of Murfreesboro; Timothy Joseph Hatfield of Murfreesboro; Jeffrey Thomas Hatfield of Murfreesboro; and sister, Mary Gwenn Moore of Corbin, KY.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 1:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Bane officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
