Obituary of Norma Blum

Norma Jean Blum, 70, of Murfreesboro, passed away December 28, 2007 at her residence. She was an avid member of the First Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro where she enjoyed being a part of their evening Bible study and their Care Ministry Program. She was also a member of the Association of College Women, The Womens Club, The Garden Club, Beta Sigma Phi, and the Laureate Alpha Iota Chapter. She worked at Goodys for ten years and was a graduate of Missouri Valley College. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mildred Sexton. She is survived by her husband, Wade Blum; her son, Charles Blum and her daughter-in-law Ann Blum of Thompson Station, TN; her brother, John Sexton of Dallas, TX; and her granddaughters, Kaytlyn and Lindsey Blum. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, January 4, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. John Todd officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the service. In leiu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Lung Association, American Cancer Society, and Hospice of Murfreesboro.
