William Paul Gehringer, age 53, of Christiana, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Mr. Gehringer attended World Outreach Church and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Gehringer was preceded in death by his father, William Paul Gehringer. He is survived by his wife, Edie Gehringer; sons, Bradley Gehringer of KY; Zachary P. Gehringer of WV; daughters, Elizabeth Gehringer of Murfreesboro; Rebecca Hockley of Christiana; brother, Carl Gehringer of KY; mother, Helen Louise McCormick Gehringer of KY; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 1:30pm at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Dexter, GA with Bro. Keith Hall officiating and with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers family ask for donations to be made to the Patriot Guard or Wounded Warriors Project.
