Leon "Pop" Hittson, 88, of Morrison, born October 24, 1919 to the late William and Willie Bryan Hittson, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2007. Mr Hittson was a truck driver for 40 years, a farmer and a member of Pleasant Knoll Church of Christ. He married Marjorie Henderson March 07, 1941. Their marriage was for 61 years upon her death on June 12, 2002. Mr. Hittson was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, Frank Hittson, Hershel Hittson, Charles Hittson, Horace Hittson, Barbee Hittson, Mary Alice Hittson and Lillian Hittson Green. He is survived by John and Travis Gunter of Morrison; special caregivers, Brenda "Sugar" and Wayne Upton of Morrison; longtime friend Bob Hadden of Winchester; special friends, John, Chandra, Weslee, Anna Lynn Elliott, Ray and Demetria Hale all of Morrison. Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 29, 2007 beginning at 10:00 am until the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Bro. Jerry Finney will be officiating.
