Sophie Ann McCartney, 89, of Murfreesboro, passed away August 13, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. McCartney was born in Moosejaw, Seskatchewan to the late Nick and Jessie Huculik. Mrs. McCartney was preceded in death by her parents and daughter in law, Sheila McCartney. She is survived by her husband, Vince McCartney; sons, Terry (JoAnne) McCartney of Christiana; Tim McCartney of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Terra Henderson; Angela Taylor; Amanda McCartney; great grandchildren; Simone Gresham; Khaliph Taylor; sister, Adeline Gilliam of Niagara Falls Ontario. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home.
