Keith was a good friend who was always so helpful and kind. He was a steadfast and faithful Christian who loved his Savior, his church, his family and friends. May God comfort the family as you cherish your memories of him.

My husband Buford and I along with our boys and pets have had the privilege to be Keith and Gloria's next door neighbor for over 25 years Keith was a remarkable neighbor whose kindness, patience, and steadfast love left a permanent mark on all who knew him.
Keith’s forgiving nature shone brightly in the way he treated us, even when our dogs wandered onto his property, made messes, destroyed things, and caused trouble. Instead of resentment, he responded with grace, compassion, and understanding. That was simply the kind of person Keith was: a man who lived his life rooted in love and forgiveness.
As a Christian father, grandfather, farmer, landowner, business owner, and neighbor, Keith’s wisdom and example were invaluable. He offered advice that came from both his deep faith and years of experience, always shared with humility and a genuine desire to help. His patience and unwavering care for others were qualities to be admired and emulated.
One particularly sweet memory of Keith is tied to his role as a grandfather. Whenever his grandchildren visited, we always knew—they’d joyfully honk the horn of his ATV, over and over! Living some distance away, we could hear the horn loud and clear, and it always made us smile. It was a testament to Keith’s incredible patience and his joy in being a grandpa. Now, when our own granddaughter honks the horn of our ATV, I think of Keith and his boundless love for his family.
Keith will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness, faith, and love lives on in the hearts of those he touched. We extend our heartfelt prayers and condolences to his wife, Gloria, and his kids—Brad, Ashlee, Mindy, their children and so many others—as they navigate life without him. May they find comfort in the memories of a life well-lived and in the assurance that his love endures on into eternity where we will see him again in Heaven.
Rest in peace, Keith. You were a light in our lives, and we are better for having known you.

One can only have one “best friend” and Kieth Ensey was my BEST friend. I have no doubt many friends of Kieth considered him their BEST friend. There is absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do if you had a need. We met each other as coaches for our son’s baseball team about 35 years ago. From then it was church, Sunday School class, Sunday dinners, Middle School events, High School events, college, weddings ect. There was a stretch of about 25 years we either saw, spoke or later on texted each other. We’d speak about everything under the sun. Those conversations could last 15m to 2 hours. . Mostly, we’d be laughing at ourselves about different issues of life which we seemed to be living at the same time. Man did we laugh!! He was there for me during a couple of low points in my life but seemed to be there for many celebrations as well. Kieth led me to the Lord. He taught me the Word during weekly Bible Studies at church or studies at Panera Bread. The man knew the Word. I enjoyed debating him over passages or verses. I would always learn something from those discussions. For 10-15 years a group from church would go to NASCAR races and create laughing memories. We did laugh! Kieth and I would talk about each other’s businesses and the challenges we were facing working for ourselves. So many conversations.
I’ll end with this … Kieth Ensey loved the Lord and second to the Lord was his family. Him and his wife Gloria raised a beautiful family based on the Word of God. What a blessing for Ashley, Brad, and Mindy. He was so proud of each one. He raised an incredible family.
I know there’ll be times I’m think of my friend Ensey and nothing but a smile will come across my face. I’ll be reminded-he’s where he wants to be …. in the presents of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
Rest in Peace Ensey!

Keith was my Sunday school teacher when we were at Westwood. He has been one of my favorites. I still remember an example he gave on ethics during one lesson. I remember at least a few church /class socials at his house.
Gloria and family you all are dear to me and I cherish the memories and spiritual leadership you provided when we lived in mid TN.

Thank you for your prayers and contributions on this website. Please also consider donating to Ronald McDonald House, Nashville which was very important to Dad. We have been blessed by this organization through weekly meals at Vanderbilt during our time of need 14 years ago. They also provide a home away from home for families of sick children. When Prentice was born, dad spent a lot of time with these families. He drove them to Ronald McDonald house after their hospital visits because many of them were from out of town and didn’t have local vehicles. Many of these families experienced loss of their babies and having organizations like Ronald McDonald were true blessings during their time of need. https://rmhcnashville.com/

I’m forever grateful to have had Keith as my uncle for 50 years. He was always there when we needed him. Taking care of me and my sister when we were little, being the first one to arrive when our apartment was robbed, rescuing our dog from the pound, inspecting my houses before purchase and of course ridding them of any termites. He was at homecomings, graduations, my wedding, the hospital when my babies were born, baptisms…all the memories include Keith. He took good care of my grandparents and they loved him as a son. I will hold on to my precious memories of Keith and am eternally grateful for the special conversations and time I had with him after his diagnosis. Especially the video I have of him playing basketball with his great nephew. He was sick and his breathing was labored but he didn’t let that stop him from living and experiencing life with those he loved. He told me he was proud of me and that meant more to me than he would ever know. Heaven has gained a bright, shining star. Rest in Peace, Keith. I thank you and I will miss you.

Words cannot express what a loss the world is suffering to not have Keith with us on earth. He was a great man, husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, neighbor, bug man, boss and loyal servant. He worked hard and gave lots even when it meant sacrificing of himself. He was always willing and ready to help when needed and sometimes would be caught helping without anyone asking. When Keith first got his grave prognosis his first regret was leaving his family, friends and loyal customers. His regret was that he would no longer be able to witness the Lord Jesus Christ to anyone again, so needless to say he made sure that he witnessed to everyone. The gas man, the bank ladies, the meter reader, the ditch digger, the person that hit our mailbox, the policeman that showed up when he was hit by a car, the nurses, physicians, housekeeping lady, store clerk, waitress, mailman, UPS guy, he never missed an opportunity to spread his love of Christ. Keith loved life to the fullest and accepted his diagnosis with great strength and courage. He wanted to not take drugs and be of sound mind and to die at home. He was able to stay in sound mind up until he took his last breath and die at home. One of the last words that he said was, "I'm Home". That is when he left us on earth and went home to live eternity with Jesus. There is a hole left in my heart, but I truly know that he is pain free now and singing and dancing in heaven ( probably with Granny). I will always treasure the time that God gave us with Keith and hope that I can live like Jesus as Keith has done. Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts and prayers lifted to help Keith during his pain and suffering. It was reassuring to him during this time. He wanted me to thank each of you. Live life as if you were dying he would say, so remember that as you start each day. Love to each of you! Sincerely, Gloria Ensey

Keith is one of my best friends!! He is probably the most caring and God loving man that I ever had as a friend!! The couple times that I have been in the hospital over the years, he was always the one checking daily with Connie to see how I was doing!! He and I have made many memories over the years attending lots and lots of NASCAR races!! From Bristol to Daytona to Atlanta to Richmond to Charlotte and dirt track races at Bulls Gap and Duck River!! We had our NASCAR gang that traveled to these races with us!! Brad, Woody, Chris, Kevin, Jimmy and Allen. These are memories that all of us will cherish forever!! Thanks for being a great friend!!
RIP ole buddy

Mr. Keith was always a magnetic, kind, and humorous person that everyone loved and wanted to be around. As a child, I remember going out to lunch after church on Sundays when he would offer Lauren and me $1 bills to go get him a refill of his drink. I will always remember him and my Dad laughing up a storm whenever they were around each other. He will be greatly missed beyond measure.

I have had the honor and privilege of working beside one of the best men I have ever met for 10 years. Keith always had a listening ear and the best advice for any situation. A true man of God whose faith was inspiring to others. I am a better man because of him as are those who had a chance to know him. To know Keith was to love him, as he loved all those around him. Keith was a faithful servant of the Lord and wanted everyone to know the way to salvation. Many souls are saved because of him and I know our Lord greeted him with “well done my faithful servant.” John 11:25-26
