Terry Tommie Lynn O’Bryan, age 76, of Murfreesboro, escaped Community Care of Rutherford County, and went to her eternal home on Monday, December 16, 2024. Anyone who knew her, knew she loved Elvis, critters, and her family.
She was born April 17, 1948, in Madison, Illinois to the late Thomas and Florence Shroat. Her dad was in the Air Force, and they settled in Murfreesboro after his retirement from Sewart Air Force base in Smynra, TN.
Terry was also preceded in death by her infant son, Adam Wayne Spencer O’Bryan; sisters, Sandra Patterson and Robin Villers; Brother, Gregory Finch, and nephew, Christopher Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Mark) Leahew; grandchildren, Justin (Mckenzi) Leahew, Kaitlyn Leahew, Jonathan Leahew; great grandchildren, Azael Mateo, Zayne and Kabella Phillips, Ethan Hayes Leahew; nieces, Jeralyn McCandless, Kalee Jimenez; nephews, Jonathan Barnett and Scott Doombs.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PAWS, or any animal rescue, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Nashville Rescue Mission, or Gideon’s International.
