Could always count on Tim to volunteer and keep track of the STATS while mom worked the scoreboard for his Graddaughter (Cecilia Hoffman) Softball years. Truly a family effort for the success of the team. Some of my favorite memories.

Tim was a sweet, kind man. But a terrible illness took him away from all of us. You will forever be in my heart. Your loving wife, Connie

Q: How would you describe Tim to someone who had never met them?
A: Hi Dad ❤️. I miss you so much. I’m glad you are in a better place. Now, your mind, body and soul are at peace and you are no longer suffering. I know you were battling this disease for most of your life and kept fighting the battle. I have so much Love and respect for you because even with the disease, you tried the best you could with us kids, you provided for us, you were always there when we needed you the most and most important.. You loved us. I won’t ever forget the family vacations, the holidays and the quality times we had together. I’m truly thankful Mom always brought us together whether it was for the holidays or just to get together. Even though sometimes it seems that you were kicking and screaming to go, I know you were always glad that you went.
You were an honorable man with integrity, selfless, and had such a big heart. Like most Families, we had our ups and downs, but we always came together. I feel we always had a special bond and I’m great full we were able to spend a lot of time together.
I know you’re looking down on us right now and if there’s a way you can ever let me know you’re here, please do.
You were also a great pop-pop for your grandkids. Thank you for always looking out for Cecilia and participating in her softball games, helping out with her needs (and wants sometimes no matter how much it was you would make sure she had the best), and most of all, being present and showing her love. Cecilia misses and loves you too. Even though she may act tough, I know this is hard on her too because she has such a loving heart. I will make sure she doesn’t keep her emotions bottled up, and we will heal through this together. I wish you could have met Roman, your great grandchild. He is absolutely beautiful and brings so much joy to our lives. He has quite a personality already. I think he’s going to be the Family genius. Lol.
At times, none of this feels real. It was only a little less than a year ago, we were planning my trip to come see you. We had such a wonderful visit and I was so happy when we went out and we made friends. I understand why you loved Murfreesboro so much. It’s such a peaceful place and the people are so friendly. I remember you were emotional at times and feel you were trying to prepare me, but I was in denial. I understand you wanted me to remember us the way you were before you got worse and maybe you think I couldn’t handle seeing you towards the end. I wish I could just pick up the phone and call you, to say good night, talk about whatever game you’re watching, or even politics. You and I had so much in common and I miss our conversations and I miss your voice. I miss your hugs, and hearing you call me “Darlin.”
You’ll never be forgotten and we will talk about you all the time. It’s so hard to imagine this world without you.
I love you Dad. I know you are at peace now. So, I will say goodbye for now and we will meet again.❤️❤️
