Norma Jean Golden, age 75 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 11, 1949, in Waycross, GA to the late Thomas and Lela May Lynn Waters. She was also preceded by her sister, Runell Waters; brothers, James Waters; and Dwight Waters. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James Golden; sons, Jimmy (Janette) Golden; Tommy (Kim) Golden; grandchildren, Jessica Golden; Victoria Golden; Tyler (Tasha) Woods; Lexi Golden; great grandchildren, Annabelle Ludlow; Alayna Ludlow; Phoebe Woods; Uriah Woods; Phoenix Woods; and Lilyann Dozier. She attended Wards Grove Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly. She never met a stranger and had one of the kindest hearts. Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 10am – 12pm with services to follow at 12pm in the chapel. Interment will be at Miller Cemetery with Pastor Ron Byers officiating.
