Mary Alice Eaton, age 86 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
She was born June 24, 1938, in Christiana, TN to the late Vanus and Mildred Parsley Bowman.
She worked at General Electric for 25 years and retired and went to work for the State of Tennessee for 20 years.
Also preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Alley Wayne Eaton; brother, Joe Bowman; and sister, Vassie Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Rene’ (Brown) Sanford; son, Wayne (Carol) Eaton; grandchildren, Chris Pugh; Amber (Steve) Matuszewski; Alley (Bass) Brown; Anna (Charlie) Fultz; great grandchildren, Clifton (Des) Matuszewski; Alec Matuszewski; Nathan Fultz; brother, Robert (Billie Sue) Bowman; sister, Essia Dill; and Christine Wilson.
Alice truly loved her family; it was the most important.
Visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 10am -11am with graveside service at 12pm at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
