I remember the time we camped and all the fun things that occurred. Like the bears trying to climb the tree to get to our food. Scared us at the time but had laughs about it later. Cooking baked beans in the ground. They were so good!

A great lady who stood by.the side of her husband for 71 years and the large family she created for close to that many years. She will be sorely missed by many and us.
Dr George and Mrs Roxane Coudounaris Vernardakis
PS A Greek poet started a long honored poem as follows:
“ Fortunate are those who have passed on for they forget the bitterness of life.”
It may not be exactly so but it offers some consolation, I think. I remember this poem in full since I first recited it in class in high school in Cyprus in its original Greek some 78 years ago. George V.
