Thomas Hunter Conley, age 30, was a beloved son, brother and friend who tragically passed away on July 18, 2024, in his hometown of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

His family and friends are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of someone so young and full of life. His loving and carefree spirit is one that will be missed by all who knew him. Hunter had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He loved music and you could always find him singing and dancing down the streets of Murfreesboro. Hunter was a social butterfly and would always greet you with a loving hug.

He was a 2014 graduate of Rutherford Academy in Murfreesboro. Following graduation, he began his employment at Johnson Controls and then moved to Nashville where he worked at Goodwill where he developed lasting friendships.

Hunter deeply loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed attending family events, traditions and celebrating his birthday. His quick wit, kind heart and adventurous spirit touched everyone he met. Although Hunter was single and had no children of his own, his cats, Taz and Dover, were the love of his life. Hunter will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Hunter was survived by his mother Laura Reitz, Stepfather Neil Reitz, father Robert Todd Conley, his brother Christopher Chase Conley, his sister Jessica Paige Baker and his step brother Noah Reitz and grandparents Buddy and Helen Conley, Allen Connell and the late Sandra Cullen.

A celebration of life will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 4pm -5pm with visitation from 2pm -4pm with Steve Brown officiating.
