Anthony Scott “Woody” Woodard, age 57 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away at home on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

He was born June 14, 1967, in Barboursville, WV.

Woody spent from 1987 – 1991 in the U.S. Air Force. He was a career machinist.

Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kelly Woodard; son, Dakota B. Woodard; daughter, Payton Woodard; granddaughters, Kinna Wills; Nixie Woodard; grandson, Wilder Davis; brothers, Ronnie Woodard; Derek Jefferson; sisters, Gina Jefferson; and Rose Lucas.

He was the type of person that needed to know how to do something to perfection, once he did that, he was on to something else learning it to perfection. People always said that Woody is the smartest person that they have known.

A visitation with the family will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Saturday. July 6, 2024, from 4pm – 6pm.
