Charles “Eddie” Edward Jakes, age 50 of Woodbury, TN passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
He was born September 9, 1973, in Murfreesboro, TN to William Gilbert Jakes Sr and Cecelia Katherine Goodwin Jakes.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Jesse Jakes and Lillie Mae Jones, and maternal grandparents, Earl and Cecelia Goodwin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie Reed Jakes; sons, Brayden Jakes; Joshua Jakes; daughter, Patience Smith; parents, William and Cecelia Jakes; brother, William “Bill” Jakes Jr. (Sarah); stepson, Jesse Reed; stepdaughter, Anna Reed; step grandson, Anthony Jakes Reed; niece, Lucy Jakes; and nephew, William Jakes.
Eddie loved to go fishing and loved his family dearly.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held at Murfreesboro Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 5pm – 8pm.
