Michael Robinson, 41, of Murfreesboro, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Middle TN Medical Center. He was born in Murfreesboro to the late Bobby E. Robinson, Sr. and Gracie Neal Robinson. Known to many as "Big Mike", he worked as a paper hanger for many years in Rutherford County and was of the Baptist faith. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Donna Marlin. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Robinson; granddaughter, Haliegh Christy; sisters, Sherry Brown and Kathy Messick, all of Murfreesboro; brother, Bobby "Fuzz" (Stacy) Robinson II of Manchester. Visitation will be Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Monday, February 14, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery with Bro. David Humphree officiating. Pallbearers will be Eric Messick, Ivan Slaughter, Devin Merritt, Dustin Merritt, Mike Taylor and Scott Moore, Jeffrey Christy. Burial to follow.
